Utility Costing

Understanding which utilities contribute most to operational expenses can help laundromats make informed decisions about energy-saving measures.

Abnormal utility consumption can sometimes indicate equipment problems, such as inefficient washers or dryers. Tracking utility costs can help laundromats detect and address these issues before they lead to more serious problems.

Costing Setting

Follow below video instructions to create the type of cost you want to track.

  • Select Meter Reading when the cost of a product or service is determined based on the quantity consumed, as measured by a meter. This method is commonly used for utilities like electricity, water, and gas.
  • Select Amount for fixed cost and insert the amount in numbers only, usually suitable for staff salary.

Costing Log

Set a schedule to fill in the costing log regularly, you can do it once a week or once a month. A costing log is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and making informed business decisions.
